Client messaging

One conversation, where the work is.

Every question about a shoot in one thread per client, sitting beside their galleries, invoices and contracts. You reply from your studio inbox. They reply from the app on their phone. Included on every paid plan.

One thread

Not scattered across texts and DMs.

Every question about a shoot stops scattering across texts, DMs and your personal inbox. ApertureBook keeps one conversation per client, sitting right beside their galleries, invoices and contracts.

  • One conversation per client
  • Sits beside that client’s galleries, invoices and contracts
  • Nothing left scattered across texts and DMs
Two places, one thread

You on the web, them in the app.

You reply from your studio inbox on the web. Your client replies from the ApertureBook app on their phone, and you are both looking at the same thread.

  • You reply from your studio inbox on the web
  • They reply from the app on their phone
  • Both sides looking at the same thread
It gets seen

A push, then an email if they miss it.

A push notification lands the moment you send. If they miss it, an email arrives, and they can reply straight to that email and it lands back in the conversation. You can see once they have read it either way.

  • A push notification the moment you send
  • An email they can reply to directly, back into the conversation
  • Read receipts, so you know they have seen it
Readable

Dates and details stay legible.

Bold a date, italicize a note, add a list or a link. A message about a shoot should be as easy to read as the plan it is describing.

  • Bold and italics for what matters
  • Lists for anything with more than one part
  • Links, so a message can point straight at what it means

Common questions

Is client messaging included on the free plan?

No. Messaging is included on every paid plan, starting at $7 a month. Invoicing, contracts, forms and scheduling are all on the free plan, and any plan can apply for online card payments.

Where does my client read and reply to messages?

In the ApertureBook app on their phone. They get a push notification the moment you send, and if they miss it an email arrives that they can reply to directly, which lands back in the same conversation, or open with the button it carries.

Can I tell whether a client has read a message?

Yes. You can see that your client has seen the message instead of guessing.

Keep the conversation where the work is.
