Delete your ApertureBook client account

This page is for clients who use the ApertureBook app (iPhone, Android and web), from ApertureBook. Your account belongs to the photographers you work with, so your request goes to them. Each photographer decides whether to delete your account and will be in touch.

How to request deletion

In the ApertureBook app (your request goes to every photographer you work with):

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Tap Privacy & legal.
  3. Tap Delete my account, then Send request.

On this page (your request goes to the photographer for that session; if you work with more than one, send a request for each):

  1. Enter the email your photographer has for you.
  2. Enter the date of a session with them.
  3. Select Send request.

What's deleted

When a photographer deletes your account, these are deleted right away for that photographer:

What's kept

The photographer keeps business records they may need for legal, tax and accounting purposes. These no longer appear in your app:

These stay with the photographer's account until the photographer deletes them or closes their account. Card payments are processed by Stripe, which keeps payment information under its own privacy policy.

If you work with other photographers on ApertureBook, your account with them isn't affected.

More about how your information is handled is in our Privacy Policy.
